For generations, the Beis HaMikdash has lived in our prayers, our study halls, and our aspirations. But moving an idea into reality requires action within the real-world frameworks available to us. Under Israeli law, one of those frameworks is the formal registration of a political party (Miflaga).

Rabbi Joshua Wander is leading an initiative to officially lay the groundwork for the Beis HaMikdash Party. To submit the initial charter to the Israeli Registrar of Political Parties (Rasham HaMiflagot), Israeli statutory law requires signatures from at least 100 eligible citizens who agree to serve as official founders. We are gathering 120 eligible Israeli citizens to ensure a reliable buffer when the final legal filings are submitted.

Here is what you need to know about what this means, who is eligible, and how to add your name to the founders’ registry.

What Signing Means (and What It Doesn’t)

• No Financial Cost: Adding your name costs nothing.

• No Political Obligation: Signing as a founder registers you for the legal establishment of the party. It does not obligate you to run for office, donate, or campaign.

• The Process: Submitting your details now registers your intent. When the legal paperwork is complete, you will attend a brief meeting with a licensed Israeli attorney (Oved Din) to verify your signature in person.

Who Is Eligible to Sign?

To qualify as one of the 120 official founders under Israeli election law, you must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Hold Israeli Citizenship.

2. Be a Resident of Israel.

3. Be 18 years of age or older.
